We’re your friendly Midwest duo mixing alt-R&B, soul, and “feels.” Tori plays warm, vibey guitar riffs. Lex works magic on the keys. We harmonize, sing our hearts out, and sometimes argue about snacks. (It’s always snacks.)

How would you describe your music to someone’s grandma?

Imagine if soul, R&B, and indie had a family reunion—our music would be the cousins sneaking in heartfelt stories and harmonies while stealing dessert. Grandma-approved (most of the time).

What’s this Matter of Time project everyone keeps talking about?

Our latest creation! It’s a collection of songs about love, uncertainty, growth, and all the messy (but beautiful) in-betweens. Basically, it’s like a diary—but with better chord progressions.

Do you two always agree on creative decisions?

Short answer: Nope. Long answer: We’re like peanut butter and jelly—different textures, but together? Fire.

Which one of you sings lead?

Trick question! We both do. Our harmonies are kind of our superpower. (If this were a comic book, we’d fight villains with stacked vocals and lush chords.)

What’s a Tori&Lex live show like?

Think soulful vibes, heartfelt storytelling, and a sprinkle of quirky banter. You’ll probably laugh, maybe cry, definitely groove, and possibly hear us accidentally roast each other on stage.

Are you genre-bending on purpose or by accident?

Both. We just follow the music where it wants to go—sometimes that’s alt-R&B, sometimes it’s soul, sometimes it’s “whatever that thing was Tori just played.”
